Amy Boucher

Hi, I’m Amy and I’m running for President for Gymnastics. I started gymnastics when I was 9 and have loved representing my club, region and now university in the sport. I would love to share my enthusiasm for gymnastics with others to encourage more people to give gymnastics a go, whether you are a complete beginner or returning to the sport.

I am highly organised and have leadership experience through coaching younger gymnasts at my club, so I am confident in liaising with the necessary people and providing support to other committee members to ensure successful running of the society.

In this role, I am very keen to help organise lots of social events throughout the year to bring everyone together outside of training and I plan to attend as many competitions as possible! Another goal I have is to encourage more people to give competitions a go. I also aim to organise groups to travel to training to encourage more freshers to join this year. I attend training regularly so will be a friendly face to train with and ask questions to throughout the year!
