Hello everyone, I'm Rosi and study biochemistry in my first year. My motivation for my course choice has been to turn science into medicine and innovative therapies that improve patients lifes. Aspiring to work in the biotech industry, I’m eager to gain leadership experience, learn about the principles of start-up founding in the Entrepreneurship Society and share my passion for social entrepreneurship.
As an ordinary committee member, my goal is to foster team spirit and create a space for idea exchange, inspiring impactful start-ups. My past event management experience—organizing a Crispr/Cas9 ethics summit and leading a school delegation to the European Youth Parliament—has shown me how invaluable the connections are that we form when we collaborate and form a shared vision to bring team projects forward. I believe that the most enriching aspect of the society is the personal exchange and bonding between our members and want to enhance the opportinity by regular internal meet - ups such as drink receptions, discussion pannels and debate events allowing members to exchange thoughts on current events shaping industries and impacting entrepreneurial endeavor or leadership skill workshops lead by professional coaches as done by companies to develop personal management skills and stimulate brainstorming for project ideas.
Diversity in cultural and academic backgrounds is key to broadening perspectives and fostering original ideas. Improved marketing and inclusive skill-training events will engage students with varying levels of experience, making entrepreneurship more accessible and inspiring.
