Mingma Tamang

Hi I’m Mingma and I’m excited to be running to be part of the surgical society’s executive committee! As a member of the executive committee I hope to play a role in helping to arrange surgical society’s events, engaging with professionals in the field of surgery for potential talks, and collaborating with other societies.

Having developed an interest in surgery after attending the society’s conferences and workshops, I am eager to be a part of this society.

As project manager for a website where we research and bring light onto complex societal problems, I have first-hand experience leading a team. My organisational and communication skills from my past experience as a volunteer for a local action group would also be of benefit to this role, and in supporting the committee members in the events they put on throughout the year.
