I’m excited to apply for the role of Executive Committee Member because I genuinely enjoy being involved in surgical events, working behind the scenes to make things happen, and helping others get the most out of the society. If elected, I’d focus on making sure our events run smoothly, from hands-on skills workshops to talks from inspiring surgeons. I know how important it is to have practical opportunities, and I’ll do my best to support the team in organising engaging sessions that benefit everyone.

I also want to help make the society more accessible. Whether it’s making event sign-ups easier, better communication about opportunities, and actively listening to student feedback. I know that I have personally enjoyed every surgical society event that I have attended this year and I hope I can help next year by continuing to improve the events based on your feedback.
