Lucrezia Kleiner Filipovic

I am excited to put myself forward for the role of Executive Committee Member for the Surgical Society. With a strong passion for surgery and hands-on experience in organising educational and outreach events, I am eager to contribute to the society’s growth and engagement.

As the Personnel Officer for the Trauma Conference, I played a key role in coordinating logistics and ensuring the smooth running of a large-scale event. I have also been actively involved in surgical education, assisting with events such as the mock CPA to support students in their preparation for clinical assessments. Currently, I am helping to organise the Diversity in Surgery Conference, which aims to promote inclusivity and accessibility within the field. These experiences have strengthened my ability to plan, coordinate, and publicise impactful events that benefit aspiring surgeons.

My ambition is to pursue a career in surgery, and I am dedicated to creating opportunities that inspire and support fellow students on their surgical journey. As an Executive Committee Member, I will work to enhance surgical education, increase engagement with students, and help organise high-quality events that provide valuable hands-on experience and networking opportunities.

I would be honored to bring my enthusiasm, experience, and commitment to this role. I hope to have your support in making the Surgical Society an even stronger community for future surgeons.
