
My Relevant Experience
As Vice Chair at Imperial Entrepreneurs during 2024-2025, I've developed leadership skills that make me an ideal candidate for DoCSoc Vice President:
- Executive Leadership: Successfully supported the President in overseeing all society operations, including our flagship IdeaForge program, demonstrating my ability to manage complex, multi-faceted initiatives.
- Committee Management: Coordinated our team of officers to deliver consistent, high-quality events throughout the academic year, showing my capacity to motivate volunteers and delegate effectively.
- Strategic Partnerships: Secured external speakers and industry connections, including Stefano Giacone from Genoa Entrepreneurship School, highlighting my ability to build valuable relationships for DoCSoc.
My Vision for DoCSoc
If elected as Vice President, I will:
- Strengthen Departmental Relations: Work closely with faculty to ensure DoCSoc effectively represents student interests while supporting departmental initiatives.
- Enhance Industry Connections: Leverage my experience in building corporate relationships to expand DoCSoc's industry network, creating more internship, mentorship and sponsorship opportunities.
- Support Inclusive Community Building: Ensure DoCSoc events cater to students across all years and specializations, with programming that addresses diverse interests within computing.
My experience in society leadership has prepared me to support the President in advancing DoCSoc's mission of enhancing the student experience for all computing students at Imperial. I'm committed to maintaining DoCSoc's position as one of Imperial's most active and valuable societies while introducing thoughtful innovations to serve our members even better.
