Miles Asuni

The Materials Society is an incredibly important part of the university experience in our department. It offers incredible insight into the cutting edge of materials science and engineering through site visits and talks. A big part of making sure people benefit as much as possible from these experiences is having easily accessible information to capitalise on the experience gained. If I am elected, I will ensure that the website is formatted to make it as easy and streamlined as possible to find out more about guest speakers and potentially get into contact with them. I will also make a page on the website with internships and opportunities from companies that are interesting to materials students. Finally, I will work to raise awareness of the MatSoc website and all the resources it provides.
