My name is Gurveer (Guv), and I am running to be your Events Officer 🔥🔥🔥. I firmly believe that the best university memories come from incredible experiences, which is why, as your Events Officer, I will organise events that truly help you unwind from the stresses of the academically challenging degree.💀

As the Events Coordinator for PunjabiSoc, I already have experience planning a myriad of successful, enjoyable events. My goal as Events Officer is to embrace heritage and create tradition. I will continue hosting classic society events such as the pub crawl and movie nights while also introducing fresh trends like "Sip & Paint".

With my strong cultural heritage, I take great pride in our society’s diversity. This sets ChemEng apart from other departments, and we should celebrate this achievement. As your Events Officer, I would love to introduce a ChemEngSoc Culture Day to honour the various cultures within our course! 🎉🎉

By working closely with the committee and societies, I will ensure that ChemEngSoc members experience the very best events. Additionally, I will establish a strong sub-committee team to create a lasting foundation for future Events Officers.

As a man of the people, I will fight for the events YOU want. 💪💪💪
