Thomas Sutherland
Hi! My name is Thomas, and I would love to be the 3rd team captain for next academic year. I’m a 1st year mech-eng student and have been playing squash for a few years. It is absolutely my favourite sport, and I will definitely continue to be a part of IC squash for the next 3 years. I have loved being a part of the society and have been to every training session (apart from when I was sick), a friendly tournament, and a few matches. As such, I have seen the great things this society has to offer and want to contribute more.
My aim is to continue the great job done by Max this year by organising matches and encouraging people to go to them. I will also persevere to get good training hours for us, to help those who have to travel a longer distance. Most importantly, I want to promote a supportive and competitive team environment where everyone feels encouraged to improve and enjoy the sport. Thank you for reading and good luck next year!
