As a subcommittee member, I have had the privilege of helping organise key conferences such as Trauma, RTS, and OSD. These experiences have deepened my passion for surgery and given me insight into the financial planning required to run high-quality events. I have seen how crucial well-managed funding is in making these opportunities accessible, and I am eager to take on a greater role in ensuring the society’s financial success.
If elected Treasurer, I will ensure that the society’s funds are managed effectively to support and expand our initiatives. From securing funding to optimising budget allocation, I will work to maintain financial stability while exploring new ways to enhance our events. I will take a transparent and strategic approach to budgeting, ensuring that every investment benefits our members.
I will ensure by strategically financing the society's events that opportunities for our members are maximised, whether by subsidising event costs, securing top-tier speakers, or expanding hands-on learning experiences. With diligence, responsibility, and a passion for surgical education, I hope to contribute to the society’s continued success and make a meaningful impact on its future.
