ABACUS as a society has brought me more than a taste of home with its Asian food events, its brought me the opportunity for leadership, to connect with like-minded people,and to escape Imperial's stress 😭.
Being a first year rep has brought me so much joy and I’ve loved each step of planning your events, from finding sponsorships to creating event posters to sorting out logistics and YAPPING❤️.
As a potential vice president 😎, I promise to deliver more events like more inter-family ABACUS events, (more ABA-FAM food?) I’ll make sure to have a good balance of clubbing and those which are more calm, like poker night ♥️♦️♠️♣️ + other asian societies cook/bake-off or game-night. But most importantly I'll make sure to plan all of your Pre's for clubbing 🍾🥂🥃!!! ;)
Another thing I would like to do is to plan an ABACUS ball, where students are able to have a fun night of gala and their little fancy dress moment.
I vow to be a representation of the member’s voice and to build a more interconnected society. ABACUS is a large society and it is hard to get to know everyone. I promise to listen to you and build what you envision ABACUS to be and more
