Hey everyone! I'm Hrutika and I'm thrilled to be running as your Treasurer of the Imperial Law Society. As someone deeply interested in law and its intersection with various industries, I am passionate about making legal careers more accessible to Imperial students. I want to play a key role in ensuring our society continues to provide the resources and opportunities needed to break down these misconceptions.

My background in Economics, Finance, and Data Science has equipped me with strong analytical and financial management skills that are crucial for handling society’s budget effectively. Through my experience in managing finances and securing sponsorships in other societies, I have gained valuable skills in budgeting, fundraising, and financial transparency, all of which I aim to bring to the Imperial Law Society.

If elected as Treasurer, I will:

• Ensure financial transparency and sustainability: Implementing an open-book policy, allowing committee members to view financial reports and understand how funds are utilised.
• Secure funding and sponsorships: Proactively seek sponsorships from law firms and other partners to expand the society’s resources and provide more opportunities for members.
• Support the expansion of events: Manage the budget to ensure we can host more networking events, workshops, and panel discussions, making legal careers more accessible to all students.
• Financially supporting novel initiatives: Allocate a portion of the society's budget towards events improving diversity and accessibility in law.
