Harriet Dray

Hello all, my name is Harriet, and you probably know me as one of the current social secs. Although the role of social sec may not be my strong point, the opportunity to be on committee and be fully integrated in the club is something I am really grateful for and have loved about this year.

I am running for the role of Women’s captain, and as this is my third and final year at Imperial, I would love to be able to support the women’s team as much as I can. We have often had a bit of a deficit of women racing in the club, and this is something I would aim to change in the 25/26 season, encouraging both competitive runners and those wanting to try something new. Although, as I have not failed to inform you all, I have been injured for a significant proportion of this season, I have still loved attending the races and supporting in any capacity than I can, whether that be marshalling or general emotional support, which is very much needed in XC. Hopefully uninjured and raring to go, I would love the opportunity to be your women’s captain next year!
