I'm from Hong Kong and Guangzhou, but also spent most of my childhood in Singapore(walao eh cibai). At 14, my family exiled me and sent to a UK boarding school and it was a large culture+weather shock.(UK weather is actually so depressing wtf). During my few months in uni, I've realised that ABACUS is essential for survival. The weekly dosage of clubbing(no), sports and cultural events that have been hosted has certainly allowed the monotonous imperial grind to be spiced up🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
I do many sports, football, baseball, badminton, a little basketball...and also bang gym regularly. For me, nothing can beat the adrenaline rushes from hitting PRs, scoring goals or winning key points.💪
One of my favorite songs is ETA by NewJeans👖—because nothing screams romance like asking, “Where you at?” ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) sets a theme of urgency and modern relationship drama. The deep lyric “Trust me, you deserve better than that” contrasts with the song’s lively beat, making heartbreak surprisingly danceable.
Perhaps this resonates with my desire for ABACUS events-constantly craving for new activities to sign up🙋 I currently have a approximately roughly 88.8%(3s.f.) attendance rate to ABACUS clubs and have not been kicked out of one yet :)
In addition to regular sporting events, I would like to host ABAlympics!!!!! ALL referees will all be from Imperial to prevent any biaseness in judging cuz we honest🫡
