Being part of this big MSoc family has made my transition to university incredibly fulfilling. Events like Amazing Race and Family Potluck have helped me build meaningful friendships and feel a true sense of belonging. Now, I want to give back by running for Secretary, ensuring MSoc remains a welcoming and well-organized community for all.

Why Me?

I am detail-oriented, organized, and an effective communicator. As a Research Officer for iCUBE, I have experience writing precise and comprehensive reports, equipping me to produce high-quality newsletters for MSoc. My experience in facilitating pre- and post service meetings in the F&B industry has strengthened my ability to manage meeting minutes, multitask, and meet deadlines efficiently. Additionally, my involvement in Dikir has reinforced my commitment to teamwork and supporting fellow committee members.

Key Initiatives

1) Enhance Internal Communication – Introduce monthly in-person meetings and use Otter.ai for online transcriptions to streamline discussions and action points.
2) Revamp Newsletter – Redesign them using MailerLite, improve event recaps with more photos, and introduce a feedback system with lucky draw incentives.
3) Improve Room Booking – Implement a Google Forms-linked system for structured requests and work closely with the VP to secure MNight practice venues.
4) Better Merch Handling – Plan ahead with travelling members to coordinate shirt transportation from Malaysia to the UK
