Luke Manzini
ICSO means a lot to me. I've played in chamber groups, been on holidays, and even had double dates with members of ICSOđź‘€. Now it's my time to give back to this orchestra!
I am fully committed to ICSO, having not missed a rehearsal this year while regularly going to weekly socials. I understand the responsibilities of the secretary role and am ready to take them on.
- Weekly Emails:
* I will ensure emails are engaging, and clearly structured, with key information highlighted at the top.
* Sent every Monday without fail
* I will also expand upon the weekly meme section
- Managing Auditions:
* The first few weeks at Imperial can be hectic, so I will prioritize clear and timely communication to ensure a smooth process.
* I will actively monitor emails and accommodate last-minute changes to support every auditionee.
- Overseeing Attendance:
* I believe ICSO’s priority is to be a fun and fulfilling place for everyone.
* While attendance is important, I recognize that Imperial can be busy and stressful, and that our mental wellbeing and degrees should always come first.
* Hence, I will always be understanding with absences, whilst also chasing up unauthorised absences
* Having grown up in London and studied at the Royal Academy of Music, I will use my connections to find replacement players when needed (which I already helped with this year), so that everyone can make the most out of rehearsals.
Vote for me, and let’s make ICSO even better together!
