Dear Members,

I am excited to run for the position of Secretary of the Sri Lankan Society. Having previously worked as an administrative assistant, I bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to keeping things running smoothly.

Additionally, my experience as an active member of the youth committee in a Sri Lankan charity has given me firsthand experience in managing deals, working as part of a team, note-taking, and organising events—skills that are essential for an effective secretary.

If elected, I will:

✅ Keep records and schedules organized for smooth operations
✅ Support event planning and society initiatives with strong admin skills
✅ Be approachable and responsive to members’ needs and concerns
