My name is Rupesh and I'm running to be your Secretary.

Having co-founded one of the first Sixth Form based Hindu Societies in the country, I understand how to handle the role of a Secretary with experience in organising meetings, planning events, activities and managing logistics. The leadership and organisational skills that I have gained from this experience and other roles such as Head Boy at school, will enable me to be a dedicated and sincere Secretary

Having been a part of Sub comm this year, our Shivaratri event was an enriching experience in which I further sharpened my skills, whilst organising an event that was loved by many. I wish to carry this forward through organising frequent events that enable us to connect to our culture together. I guarantee fresh and captivating events weekly: From Bhajans, Aartis, debates, discussion, guest talks , games and socials. This will ensure our society to always be vibrant and welcoming.

Time is of the essence to us as students; therefore, I also wish to ensure that rooms are booked in advance so that there are no hurdles to the events, making them hassle free, whilst also ensuring efficient planning that makes every event enjoyable, beneficial and valued.

I wish to take on the role of Secretary to ensure our society keeps being a safe, fun and friendly environment where together we can connect to our values, traditions, beliefs and Dharma , whilst always being efficient and reflective to improve and strive to excellence.
