Hey everyone! I’m Michael, and I’m running for ABACUS Secretary.
This society has given me unforgettable memories, connecting me with so many amazing people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, and I want to be a part of making sure that next year is just as exciting—if not more—for everyone. 🥳
As your secretary, I’ll be behind the scenes, handling ticketing, spreadsheets and forms, to ensure all your events run as smoothly as possible so that you can focus on having fun! I study Computing 🤓, so rest assured I have skills and experience under my sleeve for quick and efficient admin and tech work; but more than that, I’m eager to work with the committee to revamp the ticketing system to make everything faster and hassle-free. 👨💻
Beyond admin work, I absolutely loved this year's clubbing events, from Ten🔟 to Asian Glow💌, and I’m excited to help organise even bigger and better club nights in the year to come. I've also had an amazing time connecting with friends through cultural and social events such as Mahjong night and ABAfam gatherings, and I’d love to help push these sorts of socials even more next year.
