Hey everyone! I’m Alvin - and if you haven’t realised yet, MT has always been a passion of mine, and being part of MTSoc has only deepened my appreciation for the community it creates. Wanting to help keep our community organised, informed, and thriving, I’m running for Secretary.

Clear and effective communications is a priority for me, and I ensure nothing falls through the cracks. In other words, I’ll be keeping track of mailing lists, emails and room bookings, and most importantly, communicating with you crucial information while also being available to listen to concerns and answer questions. That being said, I’ll ensure smooth operations behind the scenes, and that everything is handled with care and precision.

Collaboration is at the heart of MTSoc, and I believe in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone feels valued. I’m adaptable, open to new ideas, and always looking for ways to improve how we work as a society. My past experience in leadership roles has prepared me to take on this responsibility, and I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute to MTSoc.

In short, I believe I’m equipped with the necessary skills to tackle the challenges ahead of me, making me a great fit for Secretary. I’m committed to ensure the show runs smoothly, and support everyone to the best of my ability.
