It is no secret that the Communication and Inclusion Officer role is fairly minor. The role of boosting inclusion specifically is something that other roles have a much bigger impact on. The only things I can really say are that I am organised and committed to the society, meaning I will be able to keep up with the communications that need to be sent out. For example, I will be capable of communicating regularly with the Union or anyone reaching out regarding tournaments run by Imperial.

The main voting consideration you should have with regards to this role is being part of the committee. Regardless of the specifics of the Communication and Inclusion role, it will naturally involve having a degree of decision-making power and influence over how the society is run. Most of you know me by now, so I think you can use your own judgement regarding how much influence I should have over the society.

Additionally, the fact that this role involves writing a lot of communications means that it also involves being a first point of contact for the society for many people. I think I am generally an agreeable person that is capable of making a good impression on people on behalf of the society. For these reasons, I think I deserve your vote for Communication and Inclusion Officer.
