Saim Khan

Hi everyone! I'm Saim, a first-year Computing student – you might have seen me around at DoCSoc events and socials, or from when I helped run IC Hack this year!

As an organiser for IC Hack, I worked closely with this year’s DoCSoc committee, handling sponsor communications, event logistics, and lots and lots of emails! Now, I’d love to bring that experience to the role of Communications Officer – sending out Weekly Digests, opportunities from our sponsors, and keeping you all updated on our events.

Before Imperial, I was an Internal Officer at school, organising events and meetings across different teams – so helping keep things running smoothly behind the scenes is something I’ve been doing for a while. As part of DoCSoc, I’d like to make our communications more interactive and engaging, including some challenges/teasers, sharing resources that people have found helpful, and more, as well as take more feedback from you all on what you'd like to see from us.
