Hockey Womens (ICSM): Junior Treasurer

Hello lovely ladies of ICSMLHC💃!! I’m Diya and I would love to be your treasurer💸!!!

I love ICSMLHC with all my heart, and being a part of committee the past 2 years I feel I have enough experience and organisation to take on this role. Being stash and sponsorship sec has given me some insight into obtaining funding for the club and I would love to continue this work as treasurer next year. My goals:

Provide clarity as to why people are paying subs - breakdown what the cost is for
Look to see if we can buy subs in instalments to make it more affordable
Approve claims the same day they come through
Continue work on applying to grants - SMHA, external grants, hopefully we can use this to subsidise transport again
Get playing kit subsidised and get away kit - looking to do this through a sponsor

As you know, as an ex-social sec, not even the flu can keep me from bargs and I can promise to be at every sports night, training and match next year! I know we are in a transition period and am ready to work with the CC to ensure everyone feels supported in committee and throughout the club. I'm an approachable personality and want to ensure everyone has the same experience and loves their time in the club as much as I do!!! I can’t wait to welcome the new wave of freshers and am ready for another great year of ICSMLHC!!!!!!
