I’m Kamilla, a second-year student, and I’m running for the position of Treasurer at CivSoc. My main goal is to maximize the budget for the most impactful and beneficial events for our department. I plan to work closely with industry leaders to secure more sponsorships, helping to fund career fairs, alumni reunions, and social events like the Christmas dinner and pub crawl.

As a committee member this year, I have experience working in a team, taking on responsibility, and organizing large-scale events effectively. If elected, I will focus on:

1. Introducing a quarterly budget overview and expanding collaborations with more industry partners.
2. Maximizing the budget for next year’s international trip (which we will hopefully have) to provide more affordable, subsidized tickets.
3. Establishing an efficient feedback system between students, companies, and Imperial Union to ensure transparency and better decision-making.
