Hi my name is Casano and I am aiming to be Physics Treasurer. With my previous experience of running finances within other societies and in sixth form. I would be a great candidate for the role, I also have a great connections with current members of the society so I have a great understanding of of how things currently operate.

If selected as treasurer, I am committed to:

• Developing a comprehensive budget that aligns with Physoc's priorities and objectives such as allocating funds to support members from diverse backgrounds, and promoting diversity within scientific thought and doing more out reach with younger students.
• Collaborating closely with other members of the executive team to achieve our shared goals and vision for the society.
• Actively engaging with the membership to solicit feedback, ideas, and suggestions for financial initiatives and programming.

Furthermore, will also endeavour to allocate funds fairly and with the interests of students in mind with the department to ensure that events and merchandise are affordable for all students by making appropriate subsidies where possible and researching the most accessible activities available to us.
