Water Polo (ICSM): Junior Treasurer

It’s finally my final year at university (unless I pull a Demetris), and as such, also my final year as an ICSM Waterpolo member (Allumini privileges excluded). My experience being money conscious can be summarised year by year:

As a budding first year, I came back from nights out richer than going in, not just because of all the memories, but also due to a grevious theft addiction.

As a growing second year, I embraced my roles as a social sec, and began to enjoy my long and troublesome relationship with the Union. Having organised virtually every event that year, I’ve come to understand how these activities should be run, and how all the budgeting nonsense works. Many successful events were run under my leadership:

Finally, in my third and glorious year, I became a tour secretary. Having run an extremely successful national tour to Brighton (which many of you will remember) and about to have an amazing one in Barcelona; I have now become of the most experienced financial and union managing thingamabobjigs in the club.

The only goal as Treasurer I could truly say I’d aim for is the reopening of Slug. Let me end this though by saying it’d be “very cash-money” of you to vote me as treasurer, and I promise not to embezzle any money 👍
