Otto Pilbrow

I would hope that many of you already know me. I've been coming for boardgames session near every week for two years now, and have been head of boardgames for half that time. For those of you (unfortunates) who focus your time on MTG or RPGs, my name is Otto, and I love tabletop society.

My family always enjoyed boardgames when I was young, and it was these early games that inspired me to join tabletop society at the very start of university, perhaps seeking familiarity in an otherwise very new world. It is that familiarity that has bought so many of us together on monday nighrs, come hell or high water, to relax and play games together. And it is those games that welcomed me, and I hope many others into university.

Last year I was lucky enough to be elected as head of boardgames, allowing me to be the one welcoming people and tailoring our collection in the basement. This role also gave me a glimpse into how the society structure works, and I believe puts me in good standing to go further up the tree of authority and become Chair of this wonderful community. I also have experience as treasurer for the RCSMC, which I'd hope proves my ability to fulfill this role.

Lastly, I'd just like to say thank you to the wonderful people who have made this community what it is today, who welcomed me, and who continue to welcome others, you are all wonderful.
