Hey everyone!

I’m excited to run for Chair of IC Badminton! As Treasurer this year, I’ve worked to ensure fair and effective allocation of funds across our three competitive teams and the social team. I’ve also been involved in organizing IC Tournament, Imperial’s largest badminton tournament, open to all.

Beyond finances, I’ve been a women’s first-team player for two years, consistently competing in matches and understanding team dynamics. I’ve also attended social sessions and joined the Morocco retreat, giving me insight into the needs of both competitive and social members. Ensuring that every member’s experience is valued and improved is something I truly care about.

Being part of the core committee, I’ve helped organize training sessions, manage BUCS travel budgets, and ensure captains book transport on time. I’ve also handled challenges like securing extra funding after increased away matches raised costs, as well as balancing court time and shuttle usage to benefit all players.

With my experience in finance, operations, and club decision-making, I am confident that I am the right candidate for Chair. I’ve seen this club grow over the past two years, and it would be an honour to lead it in my final year. My goal is to continue improving the club, ensuring it remains inclusive, well-organized, and an amazing community for all members.
