Hi,

My name is Harry, as the current Deputy President of Socials and Logistics, I am running to become your next President.

Why am I a good candidate for President?

1. I’m a very active participant in all our hikes, many of you likely know me from them.
2. I organised and ran both the Winter and Chinese New Year Social, those who participated can attest that they were unforgettable events.
3. I had the privilege to plan and lead the ten-people, six-day Winter Tour to Lake District, which was a massive success.
4. I recently conquered the unofficial 100km hike, 29 hours no sleep, hiking through the night, a testament to my walking ability.
5. Hiking is a passion of mine, it's peaceful, invigorating, and, most importantly, fun. Serving this society has only deepened my love for it.

What will I do if elected President?

1. I will first and foremost continue the excellent work from the current amazing committe, and strive to surpass it. This includes running standard weekly hikes and ensure that everyone who wants a spot gets it.
2. I intend to actively seek out feedback from all memebers and take in suggestions for destinations they would like to visit and bring them to life.
3. I aim to provide termly challenging hikes for those looking for a tougher adventure.
4. I hope to restructure the way we subsidise tickets to make expensive tickets more affordable, whilst keeping the cost of cheaper tickets low.
