WHY ME?

Because I'm the best. Period. Nobody loves computing societies more than I do. Some people - terrible people - think we should just keep things the way they are. WRONG. We’re gonna Make Computing Great Again. Anything is possible when I’m in charge.

1. BUILD THE FIREWALL (AND MAKE MATHSOC PAY FOR IT)!

Too many people from other departments come to OUR events, eat OUR free pizza, use OUR drink tokens, and contribute nothing. Sad! Under my leadership, we’re building a firewall - a strong, beautiful firewall - to keep out the freeloaders. Only real members - true, hardworking DocSoC patriots - will get access to the best resources. No more handouts.

2. STOP THE JOBS FROM GOING OVERSEAS!

Let me tell you something... too many of our students are losing out on jobs to outsiders. Big Tech is hiring remote workers from other universities, folks! TOTAL DISASTER. We will negotiate the best deals, the greatest deals, with companies - Google, Microsoft, even the failing Facebook - to get Docsoc members hired FIRST.

3. DRAIN THE SWAMP!

I will set up a DocSoc Department of Synergy (DDoS). Every committee member will be held accountable - if they don’t deliver results, they’re FIRED! Simple as that.
