Hello!

I'm Ali. By day, I'm a 2nd year MechEng student. By night, I'm a 2nd year MechEng student questioning all his life choices. But the one life choice I haven't questioned is joining the Fellwanderers society. I believe it's one of the most amazing societies and I owe it a lot in helping me maintain my lifetime passion for hiking and nature.

I believe that most humans are born fellwanderers, we just lose our passion along the way. As committee, I would love to help and facilitate this rediscovery for all of us. I only chose DP Equipment as I believe this is the position I would most excel at, given my over-perfectionism when it comes to organising stuff (I always end up being the "file manager" in every team project). I have experience planning hikes on mountains of more than 6500 m altitute with friends, and my meticulousness has allowed for there to be back ups of the back ups of the back ups. The ultimate goal is that every hiker would go home with incredible memories, new friends, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors (sore leg optional).
