As a former bus passenger, 2V chopper, and 1V whopper I have experienced all ICBC has to offer (And to Danny Shaw's delight, I have actually managed to get my blade in. More or less.). I'm applying to be Men's captain to continue the great work of our previous, glorious leaders; J-Rizz and Flip-It to name but a few. I'd want to push the squad to achieve the greatest success. This could come in the form of racing silverware, or in ensuring fewer yearly snapped Bow-balls and bent backstays. I want to get four men's eights out next year. In order to maintain stability and continuing security, the Bus will be reorganised into a magnificent 3V racing machine. No more shall the three seat of the Spirit be the throne of IC's mightiest chopper, instead the Keiron will be rightfully restored to its former glory. Fixtures will be convened, clashes will be avoided, Rocket trips will be enjoyed. I want people to feel this boat club is a platform for achievement and improvement, that the program is allowing them to reach their full potential, and that selection decisions are made clearly and fairly. I would like to see our novice program grow, integrating them into the squad and building a real culture of success and silverware. I aim to help the ICBC men's squad flourish, continuing the genuinely positive culture that has defined my time at Imperial.
