As YOUR Academic Officer, I plan to…
- Push strongly for drop-in sessions for ALL modules like in STAT to foster greater learning and communication opportunities directly between students and teaching staff.
- Advocate for more interactive classes! Practicals are always fun and leave me thinking about the principles behind our studies. I believe that more classes with hands-on activities other than iRAT/tRAT/tAPPs will supplement our learning, especially earlier into each module.
- Build on the current Committee's goal to establish whole-cohort study groups for ICAs, assessments, or especially tough topics covered in class, promoting collaboration and communication within larger groups.
…and MORE! I will not be pushing for changes based on my personal experiences alone. YOUR input is extremely valuable! I will work hard to negotiate for changes that each cohort or the entire course might want to see.
Though I may not be the most experienced candidate, I believe I am the best fit to be your BMB Academic Officer. I will put 130% into representing YOU, your academic voices, and making sure that your suggestions and opinions about our curriculum are noticed by our faculty.
