Zelin Shao

My name is Zelin, a third year civil engineer. I want to present myself as a candidate for the position of Treasurer of CGCU for the upcoming year. With three years of active involvement in the committee, including my current role as Treasurer, I have gained valuable experience in budgeting, financial management, and expense planning for various activities. I understand the importance of transparency and accountability in managing committee funds to ensure the best use of resources for the benefit of all members.

If elected, I will continue to uphold these principles while working closely with other committee members, aiming to allocate the budget more reasonably and maximize the quality of each event despite the limited budget. I am also passionate about supporting more clubs under CGCU by helping them apply for more grants and secure funding to expand their activities.
