Alexia Hiernard
hey all, it’s slexy- running for Vpe!
I’d like to think of myself as quite active in the RSM- never failed to make a spoons Tuesday, always spotted at Union Friday, on the dance floor of every single dinner - you name it.
It’s safe to say if RSM had no fans I’d be dead. Throughout my 3 almost 4 years in the department I’ve made lifelong friends and insane (sometimes diabolical) memories at each and every event.
As much as I’m a social butterfly, academics is a crucial part of our experience as a cohort and majorly influences our time here.
My goal is to ensure everyone’s studies run as smoothly as possible by attending regular meetings and discussing ways to improve feedback with members of staff.
In the previous three years here in RSM, I’ve been my years groups academic/well-being rep and I’m extremely familiar with SSCC (student feedback survey), qualtrics and moreover comfortable with speaking up to address key issues.
As students, we deserve studies that are free from unnecessary stress, align with our expectations, and help us achieve our future goals- such as career paths, internship applications, and PhD pursuits. I would love to have this opportunity and will do everything I can to ensure that every student meets their educational aspirations.
