Chris Royce

Hi everyone! My name is Chris, I'm currently one of the second year academic reps and I am running to be your academic departmental rep next year. As department rep, my main aim would be to introduce and encourage better ways of getting feedback. For example, in my current role, I've been working towards encouraging quick in person socials instead of the never-ending stream of online surveys.

I also want to continue to contribute to improving student satisfaction (its currently so low that the only way is up right?) by making sure all undergraduate voices are heard at student-staff meetings, so that the changes you want to implement get acknowledged. I believe that it would also be my responsibility to ensure that you all get to know how your feedback is being used through making sure that responses are shared with you, whether that is from the department in the student-staff meetings, or from the union, or the central college itself.

I have really enjoyed my role as a rep over the last few months and would love to continue representing you all so I hope you will consider voting for me.
