Bryan Luo

Hi, I’m Bryan, one your current Dep reps. From organising events to working with your lecturers on improving the course and delegating with the union on key college policies like AI and exams, I’m passionate about creating a lasting impact within the department. I hope to continue working with your reps, staff, union, and societies to ensure that your voices are heard and acted upon to drive meaningful change, so that we can all make the most of our time here in Mech Eng.

A few highlights from your reps so far this year:

• Raised over £1000 pounds for Charity with Valentines Roses & Take Me Out
• Introducing a pre-uni Foundational Computing Course (Hopefully to FINALLY fix computing!)
• Implemented an ‘expectations’ contract in Design Week to improve team engagement (To be used in DMF & DMT next year)
• Kickstarted the Mechatronics 3D printing service with staff (More printers to come!)
• Working with the union to release individual feedback for exams
• MExhibition next Tuesday (See you all there!)
