Hi everyone!
If we haven’t met yet, I’m Anshi, and I’m excited to run for Department of Computing Academic Representative. Imperial’s Computing community is full of brilliant minds, and I want to ensure that every student’s voice is heard, concerns are addressed, and meaningful improvements are made to enhance our academic experience.
Having been actively involved in student leadership, I understand the importance of clear communication, transparency, and advocacy in making real changes. If elected, I will work to:
- Improve lab environments, addressing overcrowding, heating issues, and workspace concerns to create a more comfortable and productive atmosphere.
- Strengthen student engagement, ensuring that Student-Staff Committee discussions are more accessible and that students are regularly updated on academic changes.
My experiences in student leadership, event organization, and team coordination have equipped me with strong communication and negotiation skills, making me confident in my ability to represent our department effectively. I am committed to working closely with students, academic reps, and faculty to drive real, tangible improvements.
