Anya Chaudhary

Hello! I’m Anya, and I’m a first-year BTV student. I’m running for Academic Representative, as an eager, empathetic individual striving to optimize students’ experience during our time at university.

Having our academic requirements met in university is crucial to a lucrative undergraduate experience, and I would like to ensure this for our department through proactive engagement. By harnessing my strong organizational abilities and communication skills, I will ensure that student feedback is acknowledged.

Picking up from where my predecessors as Departmental Reps shall leave off, I will maintain the provisions they have created and augment them with my own ideas and insights from my peers.

As your academic rep, I am determined to:

• Provide regular opportunities for students to comfortably provide feedback through anonymous suggestion forms, coffee chats, and other events
• Strengthen the corpus of academic materials and previous year content for students, especially for first and second-years in the new BSc Biomedical Technology Ventures degree.
• Maintain a bulletin to provide regular updates to the student body on all academic matters
• Vouch for more hands-on learning opportunities and personalized learning sessions for all courses within the department.
• Increase engagement between different years

I hope to make our undergraduate experience one of unencumbered learning and opportunity, and I’m counting on your vote to enable me to do so!
