Rhys Jones

Hi, my name is Rhys, and I am a second year Geophysics student. As I stand for Honorary Secretary, I am driven to keep organisation, transparency and service. This role is something I promise to be committed to and aid anyway I can, ensuring a smoothly running and efficient academic year. Making a less stressful atmosphere for all the RSMU members of committee.

Firstly, I will make sure there is clear and effective communication. I can keep members informed promptly with relevant information. With the quickest reply time to emails in the RSMU there is no way you’ll feel confused or misinformed. I am diligent to represent the interest of others which is key in this role.

I will be versatile within the role. With the role being essential to help other members with whatever they need an extra pair of hands with. I am the perfect person for this role. Having befriended a lot of the other committee members already this won’t cause any communicational or social problems, ensuring a cohesive process with no prolonging of important events. Ensuring a peaceful and positive environment.

In conclusion, I aim to serve with dedication, integrity and a focus to provide a smooth academic year, making the role of Honorary Secretary as asset to the RSMU Committee.
