Hello!! I'm Ella and I'm a second year medic running to be your SU Social Secretary! I was born and raised in Camden but I am now a West London babe.
Why Ella? I believe in meaningful socials as a medical student, for you and especially for our hardworking SU. I have experience working alone and in teams to put on events e.g. ICSM concerts and inter-uni collaborations in my Filipino Social Sec role and ICSM Music's Choir Manager. I have also embraced ICSM's Flagship events e.g. modelling for ICSM Fashion Show two years in a row!!
What do I want to plan? e.g. a 1st and 2nd year Sports Day, a mural collaborating with RAG, an official ICSM Take Me Out (Platonic Edition), International Evening and honing in on Freshers advertisement with the ents chair to avoid scheduling conflicts by liasing with ICU.
Why are my motivations? I love making people feel welcome and I have enjoyed welcoming freshers into ICSM Music, Light Opera and to Filipino Society. I also want to support the ents chair to run events you can all be excited for!! ICSM's student community is where I found a home and I'm sure many of you have too. I am grateful to those of you who gave me a warm welcome as a fresher and I want this be the same for everyone.
