Ayma Ahmed
Hi, I’m Ayma, and I’m excited to be running for the role of Research Lead for the Orthopaedics Society! As a second-year medical student with a passion for both research and orthopaedics, I believe I’m well-prepared to help advance the society’s mission of promoting diversity and inclusion in this important field.
Research is key to driving innovation, and I’m committed to creating opportunities for students to actively engage with orthopaedic research. With experience working on research projects and building connections with professionals, I will organize workshops, talks, and collaborative opportunities that allow students to learn from and contribute to cutting-edge research in orthopaedics. My goal is to make research more accessible and exciting for everyone, whether medical or non-medical students.
By fostering connections with orthopaedic surgeons, biomedical engineers, and researchers, I aim to build a supportive network for students to kickstart their careers in orthopaedics. I’m eager to inspire the next generation of diverse bone specialists by breaking barriers and creating an inclusive platform for professional development.
If you’re looking for someone dedicated to expanding research opportunities and passionate about orthopaedics, I’d love your vote! Together, we can make a real difference in the field.
