Going to medical school at Imperial, I had a worry that I would be solely surrounded and exposed to STEM, research and sciences, all things integral to medicine but only pieces to the whole picture. Understanding the human behind every patient/ loved one is as important as treating the patient’s condition and so I wanted to be part of a community that understood that value and explored the depth the studies of humanities have (more than just medically speaking). This is why I would love to be part of Med Hums as Creative Marketing Officer after having been a member for my first year at Imperial. In the past I have designed posters for whole school events such as charity fairs, newsletters and clubs as well as posters advertising ‘Multicultural Day Event' that me and my friends organised for the whole school. I have always loved the artistic and creative side to humanities and enjoy drawing, designing and producing graphic art in my free time. I would love to be able to be Creative Marketing Officer for MedHums.
