Hey everyone, I'm Sajanika and I'm running for Head of Promotions.
In the past, I've worked as Head of Marketing and I have generated innovative content and maintained visual aesthetics. I’ve created content calendars to ensure consistent post-delivery. I’ve worked with various media formats with proficiency in graphic design, video editing as well as adaptability to different social media platforms. By using data-driven decision making, I’ve used social media analytics to see which content resonates most with our audience, all of which will help me as Head of Promotions.
My ideas for this year:
- Regularly posting educational content with infographics: to increase engagement with a broader audience. We’d keep our audience updated with latest research, medical awareness months and medical guidelines.
- Cross-Promotion: Collaborate with other societies and our event sponsors to cross-promote each other's content and events to reach a broader audience, the Instagram ‘Collab’ feature is ideal for this.
- Hosting Instagram live Q&A sessions with cardiologists to excellently promote the annual Cardio Conference as the speakers could host these leading up to the event. I would love to work with the amazing researchers at Imperial and use this as a way to bring light to their work to a younger age bracket.
- Incentivise Society membership: using social media to highlight exclusive networking opportunities, resources and member events.
Ultimately, my goal is to elevate the Cardiovascular Society’s online presence, expand its reach, and engage students, faculty, and the wider community in exciting and meaningful ways.
