Aydan Poladova
Mental Health: Community Engagement Officer
Hi! I am Aydan, and I am originally from Baku, Azerbaijan. I have been graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University with a 97,4 GPA out of 100. I am a doctor, I love hearing people and helping them to solve their problems. Also, I am interested in mental health, worked at Psychiatric clinic for a while. With my MD degree and experience at a Psyhciatric clinic, I ponder I have related skills for this role.
As a Mental Health Community Engagement Officer, my goals are:
- Mental Health Promotion: Actively support efforts that raise awareness about mental health and promote open conversations on the subject.
- Awareness: We can host a community fair where people can learn about mental health in a fun and engaging way. I can organize activities like art therapy sessions and interactive workshops, making it easier for people to understand mental health and feel comfortable discussing it.
- Reducing Stigma: Picture launching a storytelling campaign where community members share their personal experiences with mental health. By creating a safe space for these stories, Iwe can help others see that they’re not alone.
I am here to be a trusted support and guide for anyone dealing with mental health challenges. Together, we can create a community that cares about mental well-being and helps everyone feel empowered to live a happy, fulfilling life.
