Danqi Wang
I am Danqi Wang. With our shared ambition to contribute to the healthcare field, I believe we all deserve the best possible academic experience, and I am committed to ensuring that your voices are heard and your concerns are addressed.
I have always valued collaborative environments, and I see this role as an opportunity to advocate for our academic needs and enhance our collective experience. Having recently completed my BSc at Imperial College and with my background in both basic science and translational research, I have developed a deep understanding of how important it is to maintain open communication between students and department. I am confident I can be a bridge between us and the department to ensure that our academic journey is smooth and enriching.
As an academic representative, I will prioritise creating a system for regular feedback on lectures, coursework, and exams to ensure your concerns are heard and addressed by the department. I will advocate for better access to learning resources, including more revision sessions and clearer materials, while pushing for additional academic support where needed. Additionally, I will try to work to facilitate networking and professional development opportunities with leading professionals in cardiovascular and respiratory healthcare. Lastly, I aim to foster a supportive community by organising study groups, peer support sessions, and collaborative workshops to enhance our learning experience.
