Adi Behura
Hello everyone!
I’m excited to run for Wellbeing Representative again, having previously served in this role during our pre-clinical years. That experience taught me how to listen, support, and advocate for our cohort, and I’m ready to bring those skills into this crucial year of clinical placements.
I understand that this year is a big transition for all of us. Balancing placements with study, and dealing with the emotional demands of patient care can be super challenging. Some placements may also involve adverse events, and the pressure of sign-offs can add to the stress. Having someone to support and advocate for you can make a big difference in these situations.
If elected, I’ll make sure that our voices are heard, advocating for things like flexible schedules, improved mental health support, and any other concerns we have along the way. I’ll also create more opportunities for us to come together—whether through informal meetups or online spaces—so we can share our experiences, offer advice, and support one another.
I’ve always been someone who’s approachable and easy to talk to, and I’ll continue to be that friendly moustache face you can rely on. Whether you need help navigating placement stress or just want to chat, I’ll be here for you.
Thank you for considering me to represent you again—together, we can make this year as smooth as possible.
