Yiming Sun
Dear second mathematicians,
I am Ming (Yiming) and I would love to become your wellbeing rep. As we are aware of, year two means a lot of independent study, stress, rejections or offers. How would you balance your study with your personal life and extra-curricular activities? To me, mental well being means that I get to enjoy this year at university, where there is a sense of personal connection with my cohort and my teachers.
Facts about myself
- I love running and I’m aiming to do a half marathon this year.
- I played the triangle in the ICSO last term.
- I am in Kensington Chamber Choir as a bass singer.
- I love to make food for myself and I am a pescatarian.
If you ever feel disconnected from the university, being upset about the course or feeling simply needing some thing to boost your wellbeing, I am here to help
- Promoting mental health education and resources
- Initiating monthly physical fitness activities for all levels
My value as you second year well being rep is: Empathy, Inclusivity, Respect and Empowerment. I am dedicated to making well-being a priority for everyone. Here is a list of events that I am conceiving of: social ceilidh dancing, parkruns, geocaching, tower running and guide on meditation plus sessions with medieval or comtempory live music.
