Omar Brahim Maaouni
Hey everyone! We’re in our second year of Aero, which means two things:
1. We’ve survived one year without *totally* flying off the handle.
2. We’ve still got time to turn this plane around before we crash into the mountain of assignments ahead.
I’m running because we’re all in the same rocket here: assignments, labs, and the occasional mental meltdown when 3DX decides to quit on you. You know the drill. I’ve been there, you’ve been there, and together, we can make sure our year isn’t just about *surviving*—it’s about thriving (maybe getting 8 hours of sleep once in a while). Also, wouldn’t it be great if reps came with free snacks? I’m on it.
1. **Mental Health Support:**
- Collaborate with university services.
- Open ears for venting.
2. **Academic-Life Balance:**
- Fight for manageable workloads.
- Promote group study sessions.
- Remind lecturers: caffeine = lift.
3. **Physical Well-being:**
- Fun events like a “run away from responsibilities” 5K or puppy night.
You should vote for me because I get it. I’m in the trenches with you, juggling coursework, life, and that occasional existential dread when the deadline timer hits single digits. I’m here to lighten the load (emotionally, I can’t do much about course) and to make sure we all finish this year with our well-being intact—and maybe even a few laughs along the way.
