I am thrilled to share my candidacy for the position of Council Representative for Undergraduate Engineering. My goal is to be a strong voice for our engineering community, ensuring that every student’s needs and concerns are heard and addressed.
I am passionate about advocating for student needs, believing that every student deserves a supportive academic environment. As your Council Representative, I will prioritize your concerns and actively seek feedback on important issues, from academic policies to support services.
With experience in event planning during my gap years and serving as head of events for my high school robotics team, I have developed strong leadership and organizational skills. I will foster a positive and productive relationship between students and faculty, ensuring collaboration and open communication.
Promoting diversity and inclusion within our engineering community is also a top priority for me. I will advocate for initiatives that support underrepresented groups in engineering, ensuring all students feel valued and included.
Additionally, I will work to enhance our academic experience by advocating for improved resources, study spaces, and mental health support services. My commitment is to ensure that every student has access to the tools necessary for success.
As your Council Representative, I will establish clear channels for feedback, promote collaboration between engineering disciplines, and maintain transparent communication about council decisions. Together, we can create a thriving, inclusive community where every student feels empowered and supported.
